Homemade pizza loaded with veggies is a crowd-pleaser, family-favorite and kid-friendly. Nearly every week this is requested in the meal plan. Take the basic pizza as your foundation and build on it what you like.
Serves: 2 large rectangular pizzas if you use the pizza crust & pizza sauce recipes
Tools:
chef’s knife
cutting board
Ingredients:
2-3 cups fresh grated mozzarella cheese
pepperoni
colored peppers
olives
mushrooms
fresh whole basil
dried oregano
For the pizza:
Make the pizza crusts and pizza sauce. Bake the crust at 190 degrees celsius / 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes to set the crust. Remove from oven. Spread desired amount of sauce on crusts. Add toppings that you enjoy to cover the pizza. A hefty amount of toppings makes great pizza. Sprinkle with cheese and dried oregano. Lay fresh basil leaves on top.
Put pizzas back in oven at 190* C and 375* F for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
Remove from oven. Serve hot.
